1. Data We Collect
The SmartSistem HomeKit service collects account information (email, name, encrypted password), device information (MAC address, firmware version, connection status), usage data (control commands), and technical data (IP address).
2. How We Use Data
Data is used solely for smart home control, device monitoring, account verification, and service improvement.
3. Third-Party Sharing
Data is shared with Apple HomeKit (local network), Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings (via OAuth 2.0), and Supabase (database) only as needed to provide the service. Shared data may include device identifiers, device state, control commands, account-linking tokens, and technical connection data. Data is never shared for advertising purposes.
4. Data Retention And Deletion
Service data is retained while the account or device integration is active. When an account is deleted, a device is removed, or a connected service is unlinked, related service data is deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by law, security, or dispute-resolution obligations. Users may request deletion by contacting info@smartsistem.com.
5. Data Security
We use HTTPS/TLS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, JWT session management, and a unique token per device.
6. Your Rights

7. Policy Updates
If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised update date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
